You spoke, we listened

We greatly appreciate the feedback received from the previous ASPiH Conference and have carefully considered delegate comments in planning for 2025.

Based on your input, here are some of the key changes and improvements we’re implementing, along with a few well-received elements we’re keeping:

“A map showing the rooms on the different levels would have been beneficial."

We agree, and a venue map will be provided in 2025 to ensure that all participants can navigate the venue with ease.

“No water in workshop spaces”

Waterpoints will be provided at ASPiH 2025 throughout the conference venue, and water will be served in the exhibition hall with the catering. The water points will be marked on the venue map.

“Registration on first morning was very slow”

Registration will run differently in 2025. We are preparing a more streamlined and quicker registration experience.

“The quiet room was appreciated”

We have also arranged a quiet room in Bournemouth for ASPiH 2025. Within this room there will be access to a live stream of the main sessions for those who would like to access it.

“Please can we have the pre-conference workshops on a weekday next time”

We have prepared a full day of optional workshops that is going to be on Tuesday, Nov 11th

“Think it’s brilliant to have also so many from industry there”

We are delighted that the exhibition hall has already sold out for ASPiH 2025 and features even more companies this year.

“I thought the use of the app to scan other id badges was great and a quick way to get contact details.”

This feature is being retained on the app ASPiH 2025, allowing easy sharing of contact details onsite at the event.

“Difficult to hear some poster presentations”

Poster talks in 2025 will all be made with a speaker microphone and delegate headphones to ensure that they are clearly audible for all participants.

“Gala dinner was not well attended and impacted the atmosphere.”

In 2025 ASPiH Conference social events have been curated to create informal networking opportunities for all participants, with an optional SimSoirée providing a lively mix of music, social games, and great conversation. Find out more here
