Oral Presentations
Recognising that there are a lot of high-quality abstract submissions, we will be maximising the opportunity for oral presentations.  If you applied for an oral presentation, you may be offered a short poster talk within the poster area or an oral communication within the main programme.

Posters
If selected for a poster presentation you will be required to display a poster, A0 size in portrait orientation.  Posters will be on display in the exhibition hall for the duration of the conference. You may also be asked to provide an electronic PDF version of your poster.

If accepted for a poster, you are welcome to use one of the A0 portrait poster templates below:-

Template Option 1
Template Option 2
Template Option 1 - for MAC users
Template Option 2 - for MAC users

As a reminder the terms & conditions of submission are:

  • The abstract must not have been presented at another conference
  • If accepted the presenting author must register to attend the conference and will be liable for the applicable full delegate fee
  • Last date for submission is Wednesday 26 June 2024 (23:59 BST)
  • Amendments cannot be made after submission
  • Ideally the submitter should be the presenting author. If this is not possible the replacement presenter must be a named author on the original submission
  • As the number of oral and poster presentation slots are limited, the judging panel may suggest an abstract is accepted in the alternative presentation format
  • If chosen to present a poster or oral paper at conference, the author will be required to make his/her presentation available for posting on the FIS conference website
  • The presenting author (as indicated on the submission) will be notified of the decision of the judging panel around the beginning of August 2024.  The decision of the panel is final
  • Poster presenters will be asked to provide a PDF of their posters in advance of conference
  • The submitter is responsible for obtaining consent to publish the names of authors/co-authors

Please remember: If accepted for either a poster or oral presentation, the presenting author must register for full conference attendance.  Amendments cannot be made to the content of your abstract after submission.
