Harrogate Convention Centre is a well-established venue in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, and is recognised for it's extensive facilities and versatile event spaces. Hosting over 150 events each year, it attracts approximately 250,000 visitors from a wide range of industries. Recent expansion and renovation works have further enhances the venue, making it an ideal location for events.

Onsite Parking: Car park 1 beneath/next to the convention centre, has around 158 spaces, offering a pay & display with general day time charges at £15 for £12 Hours & £20 for 24 Hours (event prices may vary). There are blue badge / accessible spaces within this car park. Car park 2 is in the same area as car park 1, with additional spaces for visitors, it is a first come first served basis.

Coach Travel from London to Harrogate

For delegates arriving to London, Victoria Coach Station run Coaches from London to Harrogate. Tickets can be as low as £11-£15 if booked in advance. National Express is the main provider on this route. The journey from Victoria Bus Station to Harrogate can take 5-6 hours depending on traffic. 

Air

If you are travelling from outside the UK, the closest airport is Leeds Bradford Airport, located just 12 miles from the HCC. Manchester Airport is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes away by car and offers a wide range of long‑haul international flights. London Heathrow is the UK's largest airport, with direct routes from destinations worldwide. From Heathrow, the journey to the HCC takes around 3–4 hours by train or 4–5 hours by car.

Rail

Harrogate Train Station is just an 8–10 minute walk from the HCC. Delegates can travel to Harrogate directly from Leeds and York, both of which offer regular direct services. Trains from Manchester or London usually require a change at Leeds before continuing on to Harrogate.

Accessibility

The HCC is completely accessible venue for all and welcomes everyone. 

The centre provides ample Blue Badge parking, and all public areas—including halls, meeting rooms, and main event spaces—are accessible via lift. The lift runs from the underground car park through to every level of the venue.

Accessible toilets are available throughout the building, located in foyer areas, halls, and on all floors with step‑free access.

Hearing support is also available, with fixed‑loop hearing systems installed at the main reception and within the main Auditorium. These can be arranged upon request.

Support & Assistance:
Trained venue stewards are on hand during events to offer directions and assistance. The HCC also participates in the Sunflower Scheme for hidden disabilities, ensuring staff are aware and able to provide additional support where needed.
