Student‑Sim Stars 2026 is the national student simulation design competition delivered in collaboration between ASPiH and iRIS. Open to pre‑qualifying health and social care students, the competition invites inter‑professional teams to design, build and showcase an original simulation scenario—culminating in a live presentation on the ASPiH 2026 conference stage in Harrogate.
Teams receive free access to the iRIS Student‑Sim platform, expert guidance, and the opportunity to have their work recognised by the UK’s leading simulation community. Following shortlisting, four finalist teams will be supported to attend ASPiH 2026, where they will deliver their scenario live as part of the conference programme.
Student‑Sim Stars reflects ASPiH’s commitment to collaboration, innovation and learner‑centred simulation, supporting the development of the future health and social care workforce.
