Key information

  • Submission deadline is Wednesday 27th May 2026 (12noon BST) 
  • Presenting authors will be notified of the outcome within 12 weeks of submission. For those submitting within 12 weeks of the abstract close deadline (27th May 2026) you will be notified no later than Wednesday 1st July 2026
  • Successful presenters will receive 15% off the applicable delegate fee at time of booking. A discount code will be included in your outcome email.
  • Abstract title word limit: 75 words
  • Abstract content word limit: 400 words
    • Abstract content must include up to three learning objectives

What information do I need before I start?

Although you can save as a draft and edit your work until the closing date, once you submit no further changes can be made.

  • Abstract title
  • Details of presenting author and co-authors
  • Decision on who will be presenting author
  • Throughout the abstract submission process, communication will be limited to a single designated contact. This individual will be presumed to be the presenting author and will receive all correspondence. If necessary, the contact can be updated later in the process. Please ensure that you designate this person as the presenting author when prompted during submission.
  • Biography of presenting author (max. 150 words)
  • Main body of abstract (including up to three learning outcomes)
  • Conflicts of interest (if applicable)
  • Presentation type (select from on the following categories)
    • Oral Presentation (normally allocated between 20 and 40 minutes. Both published and unpublished work will be considered.)
    • Workshop/ Clinical Demonstration (It may be allocated between 1 and 3 hours. Practical teaching or clinical demonstrations fitting the themes of the congress are welcomed.
    • Short Clinical Demonstration (It will be allocated between 10 and 15 minutes. Practical teaching, case studies or clinical demonstrations fitting the themes of the congress are welcomed Short Clinical Demonstrations will be grouped according to the congress themes.)
    • Panel Discussion (This will involve a panel of presenters on one topic followed by a general discussion. You will be contacted at a later date for the contact details of all presenters.)
    • Poster (This is a great way to display research, case studies and even techniques. These are welcomed from those in early stages of their careers, as well as from more established practitioners. More information for poster preparation and poster format will be announced later.)
