The RCSED is an internationally respected institution, a thriving global network of 25,000 medical professionals, pioneering in the advancement of surgical breakthrough and patient care since 1505.  But today, their remit of care has expanded and they now offer cutting-edge hospitality, operating multiple venues in Edinburgh’s iconic old town, in an area called Surgeons Quarter.

In addition to conference facilities, the RCSED campus includes a dedicated skills laboratory, the Surgeons' Hall Museums, College Library, the 129 bedroom Ten Hill Place Hotel, postgraduate accommodation and office space for over 140 staff.
