Membership Requirements
You must be a BAUN Member during the dates of conference.
Existing BAUN Members: If you are already a BAUN member, you are responsible for checking your membership expiry date. If you need to check the status of your BAUN Membership please contact BAUN@fitwise.co.uk
Non-Members: You can apply for a funded place as a non-member but you must be an active BAUN Member on 17th and 18th November 2025. You can join BAUN by clicking here.
Funding Breakdown
Funding supplied by BAUN covers a full place at conference for 2 x full days of conference including catering, for 1 named individual. This is non transferrable.
Accommodation
If required, you will be provided with details to book approved accommodation. This is for a standard double room for one occupant on Sunday 17th and Monday 18th of November 2025.
It is your responsibility to book your own accommodation using the details provided. If you choose to book an additional night it is your responsibility to pay for any extra nights or charges, direct to the hotel.
Travel
You must book your own travel but this will be reimbursed up to the value of £100 (including VAT).
Copies of your receipts must be received by Fitwise Management Ltd by Friday 19th December 2025.
Funding does not apply to the Sunday workshops or include an Annual Awards Dinner ticket.
If your application for a funded place is successful, you will be sent a link to download a travel expense claim form.
Confirmation of Attendance
You must have approved study leave from your manager prior to submitting your registration.
Attendance at BAUN 2025 Annual Awards Dinner
You must register and attend the BAUN 2025 Annual Awards Dinner at Dynamic Earth. To purchase a ticket, please use the link sent to you in your confirmation email.
Non-Attendance at Conference
If you are selected for a funded place and if you do not attend conference, an invoice will be sent to you for the full cost of the conference place applied for plus any associated costs attached to your attendance i.e. cost of hotel accommodation.
Post Conference
As part of your funded place you will be required to give feedback via the post conference survey and will also be contacted to provide a piece for the BAUN newsletter.
You must first apply to be selected for a BAUN Funded Delegate Registration Place for Conference 2025. If you meet all the criteria as highlighted in the above Terms and Conditions your application will be processed on a 'first come, first served' basis.
If your application is successful, a link to a registration site will be emailed to you for you to then process your registration. This email will also contain details to enable you to book your accommodation if required. Please be aware that accommodation is not automatically booked as part of the Conference Registration process. You will also have the opportunity to sign up for any of the Sunday workshops or the Annual Awards Dinner at this stage.
Please note we can only award a maximum of 2 funded places per NHS trust.
As there is limited availability, we do expect funded places to go quick but please keep and eye on this page for availability.
Many companies can support you to attend
conference, make sure to speak with your company reps at work or get in touch
with them directly to discuss options for attending. Many companies must work
on a reactive basis, so you have to approach them to get the support to attend.
