The BCEC is located in the heart of Birmingham's city centre, just a 2 minute walk from Birmingham New Street station. We want to ensure this event is not just about sustainability but also minimises its own impact on the planet, so are very keen to encourage delegates to avoid travelling by car if at all possible. The National Rail website (www.nationalrail.co.uk) is a good place to start investigating how to get to Birmingham by train. Birmingham City Council provide some useful advice (www.birmingham.gov.uk/transport) on journey planning for those already in Birmingham and the West Midlands. Google Maps (www.google.co.uk/maps) is a helpful resource too, as it has knowledge of bus and train times across the country and often suggests clever routes by public transport that a human brain would take hours to work out!

For those with no alternative to car travel but with access to an electric vehicle, nearby chargers are located at several locations within 0.5 miles of the BCEC:
