Wellness Workshop: Body and Mind
A free online event supporting ostomates with their everyday wellbeing
Join us for our FREE virtual workshop and conference, taking place Tuesday April 20th 2021.
The event will be streamed live to you in the comfort of your own home 1pm – 3.30pm.
The whole event will be available for a limited time afterwards via ‘catch-up’, exclusively to those who have registered.
About the workshop
It has never been clearer that wellbeing is, and should be, part of our longterm goal for recovery and rehabilitation. To promote your mental and physical wellbeing, this event will share support and coping strategies with you from Colostomy UK, the Ileostomy Association and Urostomy Association.
Experienced Clinical Psychologists, Rebecca and Lucy, will explore ways to help you manage your own mental wellbeing, during their discussion; It’s OK not to be OK - Where you’ll learn to understand emotional reactions, develop strategies to manage feelings of anxiety and stress, and provide a toolkit of tips, routines, and rituals to help boost mood and maintain good mental health.
After the event, our workshop will be accessible in the format of 'catch-up TV' until 18th May 2021. This enables you to dip in and out of the talks, re-watch particular presentations or the whole event at a time that suits you! You will also have further opportunity to view the exhibition rooms at your leisure.
Registration will close on Monday 19th April 2021 at 5pm.

What happens once I've registered?
On 19th April 2021 (the day prior to the LIVE stream) you will receive an email from events@fitwise.co.uk with the link to the e-conference website and your unique login details which will grant you access to the e-conference. To avoid any issues, we suggest you add events@fitwise.co.uk to your contact list.
Period of access
Once you have been sent your access details you will be able to view the e-conference at your leisure as many times as you like. The final day of access is Tuesday 18th May 2021.
Virtual delegate bag
Delegates will receive a virtual delegate bag. This will come in the form of an email.
Exhibition Hall
In addition to the conference sessions, there will be a virtual exhibition hall where you can visit stands from Colostomy UK, Ileostomy Association and Urostomy Association; view relevant products and services offered by CliniMed and SecuriCare, book demos and speak online to a Product Specialist.
