Welcome to our annual conference, Access All Areas, covering the south coast region. We have a well established attendance from healthcare professionals in many diverse areas of care including acute hospitals, hospices, care homes, GP surgeries and community teams. The aim is to highlight the common problems faced in infection prevention and how different settings can adapt universal processes to meet their individual needs.

Topics include, but may be subject to change:

• sustainability
• waste management
• prison settings and their challenges
• antimicrobial resistance and antimicrobial stewardship
• applied microbiology and infection control
• UTI prevention

The conference is an opportunity to network with colleagues in different areas of healthcare and to look at the latest products and services from leading manufacturers and suppliers. There will also be branch members available to discuss the benefits of joining the Infection Prevention Society and be part of a professionally led organisation supporting members and promoting innovations.

The conference is again being held at the Novotel in Southampton - ideally located close to the West Quay shopping centre near the docks. There is a 5 minute walk from Southampton station and complimentary parking is available on a first come first served basis.
