On behalf of the Infection Prevention Society Scotland Branch, it gives us great pleasure to invite you to join us for our annual conference at P&J Live, Aberdeen, on 29^th August 2024.

The educational programme for this year’s conference reflects the changing and challenging landscape of infection prevention and control within health and social care. The programme is based around the themes of Safety and Sustainability, and includes presentations on surgical site infection, IPC recommendations for high volume cataract surgery, ‘water free’ patient care, the Scottish National Green Theatres Programme, priorities for research in infection prevention and control, and developments in transmission-based precautions.

Our industry partners are crucial to the success of this event, and we fully expect that this will be one of the largest infection prevention and control exhibitions in Scotland in 2024. The exhibition provides an excellent environment in which to further build relations, learn more about products and services, exchange ideas concerning products and technologies.

Together, our educational programme and industry exhibition demonstrate that Scotland continues to lead the way in infection prevention and control in health and social care. We very much hope you can join us in Aberdeen!
