Welcome to the registration website for the IPS Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony 2021 - Masquerade Ball
Tuesday 28th September, 7:30pm until Midnight

 

IMPORTANT: We are mindful of the ongoing pandemic and will continue to monitor restrictions as we get closer to the event. All dinner bookings/layout can be subject to change. 

To acknowledge the key role that masks have played over the past 18 months, this year's dinner will take the form of a Masquerade Ball. Delegates are encouraged to wear decorative masks.

In addition to providing a platform to share extensive scientific knowledge and expertise, the IPS Annual Conference has an enjoyable social scene in which industry partners and delegates are given the opportunity to network and interact. The evening will begin with a wine reception, followed by a 3 course meal. Before the dancing begins The Annual IPS Awards will be presented to acknowledge the contributions fellow professionals have made to infection prevention. Awards will also be presented for the Best Exhibition Stands (voted for via the IP2021 mobile app), Best Oral Presentation and Best Poster Presentation.


Please note: This event is very popular and frequently sells out, we advise you to purchase your tickets early. There is no longer an operated seated plan – first come first served on the night (excluding IPS top tables/large company tables)

Ticket Price - £60
Dress Code: Formal/Black Tie. Decorative masks optional.

 

Attendees will be required to adhere to venue guidelines regarding face coverings when not within the dinner space.  These guidelines will be confirmed within the final delegate information email.

Terms and conditions of registration

In order to confirm your place at this event please read the following statement and tick to confirm that you are in agreement.

 

By confirming your attendance at this event, provisions will be made on your behalf by the IPS and we will be charged accordingly  by the venue.

Payment Terms
Payment terms are strictly 30 days net from date of invoice.  Invoices not paid within 30 day net will incur an 8.5% charge.  If booking within 30 days of the event payment must be received 3 weeks prior to the event start date.  If within this 3 week timescale, payment must be made at time of registration.

 

Invoice requests

It is your responsibility to make sure that your finance department processes the invoice in time.  Registrations requesting payment by invoice will only be processed if a purchase order is entered on the payment request page. Payment must be received within 30 days of invoice issue date.

Cancellations

Notice of cancellation should be made in writing to events@fitwise.co.uk.  Cancellations received by 16 August 2021 will receive a refund minus 20% for administration costs.  Unfortunately for cancellations received after this date there will be no refund and if payment has not been received delegates will still be liable for the full delegate fee. Substitute delegates are welcome.

 

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the appropriate insurance in place to cover your registration costs should you be required to cancel for any reason, including medical, bereavement or travel disruption.

 

External websites

The conference organising group or Fitwise Management Ltd cannot be held responsible for the content of external websites.  Any contract entered into between any third party company and a conference attendee is solely between these two parties (e.g. hotel bookings).

The conference organiser reserves the right to make changes to the conference programme and speakers without prior notice.

 

Photographs may be taken during the event and used for promotion post event – if you do not consent to this please alert events@fitwise.co.uk
